Cincinnati skyline, view from Bellevue
It was a beautiful weekend in the Queen City. The days where you can feel the switch from summer to fall — blue skies, 72 degrees, no humidity, and the scent of pigskin on the horizon. On Saturday we ventured to the other side of the river in Bellevue, Ky and soaked up an art fair known as Arts in the Park.
From circus acts to finger painting to pottery and jewelry, there was plenty of activity to keep the whole family busy.
THE ART… BEGINS AS YOU WOULD EXPECT

AND HERE IS WHERE THINGS START TO VEER OFF WEIRD
why the obsession with cats? #catlady
random llama. didn’t know we were in a scene from Napoleon Dynamite
Obviously this wins as the creepiest of them all. On the left, we have some freaky wine jugs. On the right, let’s just say that’s not how I remember my cabbage patch kid.

THE VIEW
pretty look at the Queen City Tower across the Ohio River
It’s okay though because whenever unspecified sights left me in unfamiliar territory, I looked across the river and was reassured that everything would be okay.
